I've had the pleasure of not only knowing Joel for almost 3 years but also serving with him on the same executive board. During the school year of 2015-2016 I served as the president for the national society of black engineers, while Joel served as the chapters programs chair. Joel played a vital role in the success of our NSBE chapter. He brings an innovative approach to problem solving combined with his engineering experience to create the best programs for our weekly meetings. Joel has never backed down from a challenge and has always had a positive attitude when presented with a problem. If you are looking for a Unique individual, who can easily integrate him self into any environment, and brings valuable skill sets to the table then look no further.

Joel is someone who is immediately impressive - you can instantly tell he's dedicated himself to his endeavors. Over time, if you have the ability to work with him, you'll have the opportunity to see first hand how his drive to excellence comes out in the results. I really enjoyed working with Joel - and look forward to seeing the bright things his future holds.

I've had the privilege of working with Joel for 2 years now and he is a versatile and well rounded individual in any work space that he is thrown into. Joel is extremely passionate about any project or challenge that is handed to him and will do everything he can to show results. He has taken part in many events inside and out of the IOL and continues to broaden his knowledge in the tech field. His time management skills and work ethic are shown by the way he balances out his work, studies, and athletics. Joel is the ultimate professional and is more than qualified for any position in industry.

Joel's enthusiasm shines into every project and person he comes in contact with. His ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly, paired with his constant pursuit of new ideas make Joel an invaluable team-member to work with. Along with his work-related skills, Joel is an outstanding mentor, able to teach and explain the most difficult course concepts and topics to his peers.

I had the opportunity to work with Joel both as a peer and as a mentor while we were both students at UNH and members of the National Society of Black Engineers. Joel consistently showed an eagerness to learn and grow. He is a positive and open minded individual in everything he takes part off. As a program coordinator for NSBE, he grew very quickly as a leader and as a public speaker. Joel has a bright future ahead of him and I am looking forward to what he will accomplish.
